In a free webinar for teachers, Dr. Fonger presents her highly visual approach to improving algebra literacy in secondary classrooms. Attendees will learn how to support students to fluently reason and represent algebraic expressions, equations, and functions; how to design algebra lessons that are culturally and historically responsive to students’ experiences and social justice issues; and how to make connections among rigorous research in algebra education, teaching algebra, and leading ambitious, equitable, and antiracist visions for algebra education.
